MK808 Mini TV/Computer

Just got my MK808 Mini TV with Android Jellybean 4.1 on it. its a simple plastic package with the required cables. Whatever I read on the blogs and the capabilities of this tiny computer, I am very excited about it and hope to explore it further over the weekend. From the initial observations, it is a fully functional Android Device which can connect to the WiFi router and the HD TV to bring you the functionality of Android Tab. I bundled it with a Logitech K400 Wireless Touchpad Keyboard having multi-touch pad for a more realistic interaction with the device. Under USD50 this device can convert your plain vanilla flat panel TV into a Fully Functional SmarTV with wireless Interactions.

Update #1:

I connected the device to my 40″ Sony LCD TV which was used less due to lack of smart features. The device started up without any issues altho the resolution required a bit of adjustments. After setting it at 1980x1080p it looked sharp and clear. The Logitech wireless keyboard connected without any efforts and after basic WFi configuration, I was on the roll watching Youtube videos, listening to songs, played Angry birds and tried browsing, all of which ran effortlessly. So far the Logitech trackpads multi touch two finger scroll is working while there is some issue with Pinch & Zoom which I am trying to work out.

So far, the device looks very promising and I am planning to hook up a WiFi or USB Cam, Mirror my Android Phone on the large screen wirelessly, etc. Will update once I make some progress.

Comments/Suggestion..!!!

“As a pioneer in multimedia Android devices, we wanted to create a bigger, better way to enjoy Android” The TV connect allows you to control your TV just like a tablet – tap, swipe, zoom in, zoom out, select or type. With the TV connect users will be able to play games, stream videos, video chat in HD, email friends or surf the web all from their big-screen TV. The ARCHOS TV connect runs Android 4.1TM ‘Jelly Bean’ and will be available starting in February, 2013 for $129.99.
